PEACE TOGETHER COUNSELING

You Don't Have to Go Through It Alone.

Sometimes life doesn't turn out the way we expected. You may be dealing with a difficult relationship, a major transition, grief, stress, family concerns, or questions about what comes next. You may know exactly what brought you here, or you may simply know that something in your life isn't sitting right and you're ready to talk about it.

You don't have to have everything figured out before you reach out. Peace Together Counseling provides a caring, supportive environment where you can talk openly, be heard without judgment, and begin making sense of what you're experiencing at your own pace.

A SAFE PLACE TO BEGIN

When Life Feels Difficult to Navigate

There are times when the things happening around you begin to affect how you feel, how you relate to others, and how you see yourself. A relationship may be strained, a loss may have changed your world, stress may be affecting your everyday life, or a transition may have left you unsure about what comes next.

Counseling gives you a place to slow down and look honestly at what you're experiencing. You can talk through the things that have been difficult to process on your own, gain perspective, and begin identifying practical ways to handle what you're facing.

You don't need a diagnosis or a perfectly explained problem to begin. Sometimes knowing that you want something to change is enough reason to have a conversation.

Relax
Create space to slow down, step away from the noise, and pay attention to what may need your attention
Relate
Explore the experiences, relationships, emotions, beliefs, and patterns that influence how you see yourself and connect with others.
Release
Begin finding healthier ways to respond, communicate, cope, and handle what comes next.

OUR APPROACH

A Whole-Person Approach to Care

Different parts of our lives are connected. Your emotional well-being can affect your relationships. Ongoing stress can affect how you function day to day. What you're experiencing spiritually can influence how you understand a difficult season. The relationships around you can shape how supported or isolated you feel.

Counseling creates an opportunity to look at these connections rather than treating one part of your life in isolation. That's why the Peace Together approach centers on three simple ideas: Relax, Relate, and Release. Together, they create space to slow down, understand what you're experiencing, and begin identifying what may help you move forward.

Support for Where You Are

Understanding the approach is one thing. Knowing what support is available for your particular situation is another. Several options are available depending on what you're experiencing and what you hope to work through.

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling provides private space to talk through personal concerns, life transitions, relationships, stress, grief, emotional challenges, and other experiences that may be affecting your well-being.
Family Counseling
Families can find themselves caught in patterns of communication, conflict, misunderstanding, or change that are difficult to navigate alone. Family counseling creates space to listen to one another, work through concerns, improve communication, and build healthier ways of relating.
Check-In Support
Sometimes you simply need someone to talk to about what's happening. Check-in sessions provide an opportunity to pause, talk things through, and gain perspective on what you're facing.

Not Sure Which Appointment Is Right for You?

That's completely okay. You don't have to determine the right type of support before you reach out.

The Initial Consultation gives you an opportunity to learn more about the practice, ask questions, talk about what you're looking for, and discuss what type of support may be appropriate for you. It's also a chance to talk through practical details, including your location, time zone, available services, and the financial arrangements for ongoing sessions.

The consultation is free, lasts 30 minutes, and takes place virtually.

You'll be taken to the Peace Together appointment page for that particular consultation to schedule.

A Counselor Who Takes Time to Listen

Knowing what kind of support is available is helpful, but choosing a counselor is personal. You want to know that the person you're talking with will take your concerns seriously and give you room to be honest about what you're experiencing.

Dr. Pamela brings years of experience in counseling, spiritual care, chaplaincy, and walking alongside individuals and families through difficult seasons. She is an NCCA Licensed Pastoral Counselor and brings her experience in spiritual care into the way she listens, asks questions, and works with clients.

Her work has taught her that people don't always need someone to rush in with an answer. Sometimes they need someone who will listen carefully enough to understand what they're really saying.

That's how she approaches counseling. She takes time to understand your experience, asks thoughtful questions, and works with you to identify practical steps that make sense for your situation. You can talk honestly about what's happening without worrying about being judged or having to make everything sound better than it is.

What Clients Are Saying

Hearing about another person's experience can sometimes help you know what to expect, especially when reaching out for counseling feels like a big step.

"Dr. Adams delivers sound advice without being judgmental...she is a great confidant!"
"Most people think of therapy/counseling as some place you go to be fixed or to get help because you are broken. My experiences with Pam are more like catching up with a friend who helps me make peace with my pieces."
"I've had so much emotional and spiritual growth during the year that I've been seeing Dr. Adams! She has truly helped me 'transition from pieces to peace' and I am forever thankful! She is proof that therapy with the right clinician can be a life changing experience. I am truly grateful!"

Counseling isn't the only way individuals and families can receive support. Sometimes the challenge isn't something you need to work through individually; it's a conversation between people that has become difficult to have.

Mediation provides a structured and supportive setting for working through disagreements, misunderstandings, and important decisions.
